Adoptee with a punctuation twist

After buying a house in the suburbs and moving in, Goran and Sven are ready to adopt a kid and take their stab at domestic bliss. After an excruciating prejudice-laden wait, they suddenly have the opportunity to adopt Patrik, a 1.5-year-old orphan. But the Patrik that shows up at their doorsteps is a homophobic 15-year-old with a criminal past --- his actual age mangled by a punctuation mistake in the adoption documents. Stressful doesn't begin to describe the situation as the new family tries to get on with their lives in an otherwise tranquil Swedish suburb. The film's portrayal of the delicate topic of adoption by same-sex couples has garnered accolades in various international film festivals. And it's coming soon this summer at the TIL&GFF!
