Mia returns home with her fiancée Tim to celebrate her Father’s 60th birthday. At the party, Mia’s father Lasse announces that he, too, will soon marry a woman he introduces as Elizabeth. After Mia is introduced to Elizabeth’s daughter Frida, her soon-to-be step-sister, strong emotions begin to stir as the two get to know one another. Their relationship will turn their world upside down, dragging with them everyone involved.
