Food of Love 8/2,21:00 Paul, who is a music student and aspires to be a pianist, is hired as a page turner for Richard, a professional pianist, and attracted by his talents and appearance. After the two part, Paul meets Richard again during his trip to Barcelona with his just-divorced mother, and again becomes his page turner. Paul and Richard fall in love, but Richard already has a sweetheart, Joseph, his manager and Richard's senior. Ventura Pons from Spain directed this film, which is based on the novel "The Page Turner", the work of David Leavitt, a leading writer in American gay literature and well-known for such works as Family Dancing. Pons depicts a passion for music, love with an adored pianist and separation from him, and that Pianist's relationship with his mother.
