“Cuz, see, Im bisexual.” That"s how an old friend casually came out to me. I felt really happy. Because I know that it"s harder for women to come out in Japan and no one ever had to me before. At present, while, on the one hand, words connected with sexual minorities are gaining wider usage, but on the other, problems still remain, I feel both pressure and great determination, having been selected again to appear in the musical “Rent,” this time playing a different role as a bisexual. Taking my cue from this festival, I too want to let my feelings explode.
