This year, from September 14 to 17, the Tokyo International Lesbian & Gay Film Festival will take place for the 21st time. Since 1991, the festival has helped to promote international cinematic productions portraying the lesbian and gay community.
This year, the festival’s schedule includes ten films from all over the world.
I am particularly pleased to see that a German production is among those chosen for screening.
Germany is committed to tolerance and diversity, and therefore we publicly support the festival. I wish the organizers a successful event and lively audience at Spiral Hall, as well as a wonderful opening ceremony on September 14.
