Are the films subtitled?<\/h4>\n

Our Film Festival only feature bilingual films, Japanese and English. English subtitling will be added to all films that are not in English, and Japanese on all films not in Japanese. <\/p><\/div>\n<\/article>\n

\n

Are we allowed to take pictures onsite at the venues?<\/h4>\n

We do not explicity prohibit taking pictures in the lobby and foyer. However, we request that you do not upload or post those images online (onto Facebook\/Meta, Twitter, etc) when you have no permission of the person(s) or place in the photo. The same goes for taking video recordings. Furthermore, we strictly prohibit both video and sound recording in the movie halls while the film is playing. <\/p><\/div>\n<\/article>\n

Where can we purchase the tickets? When do they go on sale? Will there be tickets available on the day of showing? <\/h4>\n

Showings at Spiral Hall<\/u>
\r\nFor tickets for showings at Spiral Hall, pre-sale tickets are available from teket and day of showing tickets from the box office window. Only tickets for showings on that day will be available at the box office window. Seating is not reserved and it\u2019s first-come first-served (you\u2019ll be served with a number).
\r\nTicket sales period:
\r\nPre-sale tickets: July 1, 2023 10:00 to July 14, 2023 23:59
\r\nTickets on day of showing will be available only during the hours that the venue is opened.

\r\n\u3000July 15 16:00 onward
\r\n\u3000July 16 11:00 onward
\r\n\u3000July 17 11:15onward
\r\n\u203b When tickets on day of showing are sold out, waiting list tickets will be given.
\r\n\u203b Waiting list tickets are vouchers for day of showing tickets and there are as many of these vouchers as there are ticket cancellations. Waiting list tickets do not guarantee entry. Depending on how crowded it is on the day of showing, sometimes no waiting list tickets will be distributed.
\r\n\u203b On July 16 and 17, you will not be permitted inside if you arrive before 11am when the Spiral building open.
\r\nIf you arrive on July 15 and wait in front of the event space or foyer, or if you stand and wait in line in front of the Spiral building before the building opens on July 16 or 17, this will be disruptive to our neighbors and to the shops and facilities inside Spiral, so we ask you not to do this.

\r\nShowings at EuroLive<\/u>
\r\nTicketing for showings at EuroLive are reserved seating tickets and you can buy pre-sale tickets and standard tickets from teket. Seating cannot be reserved by telephone.

Is there a cashback system at the venue?<\/h4>\n

Ticket discounts for showings at Spiral Hall are on a cashback system. Students, seniors (age 60 and over), and holders of physical disability ID, nursing mother ID (\u611b\u306e\u624b\u5e33), mentally disability ID, and atomic bomb survivor ID and one companion will each receive a 200 yen cashback when you present your ID at the box office. When we pay you this cashback, the film name and serial number which are printed on your ticket will be recorded.

\r\nTicket discounts for showings at EuroLive are not on the cashback system. Student discounts and other discounted tickets are sold from teket, so please select the appropriate discount when buying your ticket.
\r\n
\r\nOn the day of showing, you will be asked for identification. If you are unable to provide identification, you will be asked to pay the difference between your discounted ticket and standard ticket, so please do not forget your identification.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/article>\n

Is it reserved seating or first-come first-served?<\/h4>\n

Showings at Spiral Hall are first-come first-served. We will usher you in by your ticket number. The letters have no relationship to when you will be ushered in. You will be ushered in the order of: Spiral pass holders \u2192 pre-sale ticket holders \u2192 holders with ticket bought on day of showing

\r\nSeating for showings at EuroLive are reserved seating. You can select your seat when you buy your ticket.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/article>\n

Are the venues wheelchair accessible?<\/h4>\n

Spiral Hall is outfitted with 2 wheelchair accessible sapces. Please use the multipurpose restroom on the second floor. You can reach the third floor by elevator. The wheelchair accessible elevator is on the right of the first floor elevator. If you need assistance, please call Ticketing at 050-3183-7215, or reach us in advance via our contact form (here<\/a>).<\/p><\/div>\n<\/article>\n

Will you refund and exchange tickets?<\/h4>\n

Tickets will not be refunded or exchanged. Some films will be shown again at a different time, on a different day, so please check your showtime and date of showing when you buy your ticket.

Where can we get the movie pamphlets?<\/h4>\n

Presently, movie pamphlets are not available. Please visit the film\u2019s website for a synopsis and other information.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/article>\n

What are the alphanumerics printed at the bottom of the ticket?<\/h4>\n

Showings at Spiral Hall are not reserved seating, so, when you enter, you will be using the number that is printed next to where it says \u6574\u7406\u756a\u53f7. (Ex. \u6574\u7406\u756a\u53f7 AA-0001)

\r\nTo avoid crowds at showtime, we will usher ticketholders inside by zones. The letters indicate film category. The number next to \u30c1\u30b1\u30c3\u30c8\u756a\u53f7 is the ticket control number (Ex. \u30c1\u30b1\u30c3\u30c8\u756a\u53f7 A0001).<\/p><\/div>\n<\/article>\n

\n

Can I buy tickets even if I do not own a smartphone?<\/h4>\n

Teket can be accessed from a PC. Please print out the PDF that will be sent to your email you registered when you made the purchase and bring this to the box office.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/article>\n

\n

Can you buy tickets on teket without doing member registration?<\/h4>\n

For Rainbow Reel 2023, you must do a member registration in order to buy tickets.Your name will not show on the ticket itself. Our staff will never ask for your name, except for when we need to verify your identity.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/article>\n

\n

When buying tickets, will I be charged a ticketing fee?<\/h4>\n

When you use teket, you can pay either by credit card or at a combini. A ticketing fee may be charged, depending on your method of payment. For details, please see teket\u2019s FAQ<\/a> page. This link is only available in Japanese.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/article>\n

\n

If I have a Spiral pass, can I get in by scanning the QR code?<\/h4>\n

We sell a Spiral pass voucher. Please bring your Spiral pass voucher to our box office. We will scan the QR code at the box office and your voucher will be exchanged for a Spiral pass card (hereinafter, Pass card). Your pass card can be re-used. If you have the Pass card, as VIP you will be allowed inside first, so do arrive by when doors open.

\r\nOn Day 1 July 15, it may take some extra time to exchange your voucher, so please check your film\u2019s showtime and arrive with plenty of time to exchange your voucher.
