He's
just 18. Blond, frustrated and looking for something new. He's
almost 30. Tall, dark and hot.
Eighteen-year-old Kyle is a tender and romantic poet who is comfortably
out (even to his wacky mom)
but not yet experienced in love. Mike, the 29 year-old construction
worker, is an old hat at
the game who likes to play the field. When Kyle meets Mike at
a coffee house
in Los Angeles'Silverlake district, they click.
Their
date ends in a night of humpy sex followed by Mike buying Kyle
a leather jacket the
following morning. Kyle thinks it all means love. Mike thinks
it was a good roll in the sack.
The way these two thrash things out is the
essence of Leather Jacket Love Story,
a light romance of a young man's first love
and an older man's rediscovery of it.
There's plenty of nudity, sex, hunky boys, leather studs and
L.A. divas (including Mink Stole) for
everyone. The pace moves leisurely, but the story is honest and
something most anyone who was
once 18 can relate to only too well.
*Leather Jacket* will be preceded by Mejor no hables,
an AIDS-related short film featuring
Rosy de Palma (famous for her many appearances in the films of
Almodovar) as a vampire forced
to take to the airwaves of day-time talk TV in order to get her
daily ration of blood.
At both screenings of Leather Jacket Love Story
at Spiral Hall, you can win a
FREE Leather Billy - The world's first out and proud GAY DOLL.
