| Esben, who has a lovely wife in a small
Norwegian town, starts to express the female identity that has been concealed
for so long. All About My Father shows us Esben's desire to be accepted, and the
ex-wife who was divorced him, unable to understand. We also see Esben's present
wife, who, while understanding of her husband, still has some reservations, as
well as Esben's children, who seek a father figure. This documentary on family
life with a transgendered parent was filmed by Esben's son, Even, and is guaranteed
to touch anyone who has ever been part of a family. |
