In a New York suburb, Matt, a young artist, kills himself. Detective Nick finds
Matt's death suspicious, and begins an investigation to probe the involvement
of Matt's family and friends, only to make several discoveries. It transpires
that Matt had recently come out to his family, having being diagnosed as terminally
ill with AIDS. At the time, Matt was watched over by his lesbian and drag queen
friends. What decision did Matt make as death stared him in the face? The Event,
