The Tokyo International Lesbian & Gay Film Festival will operate a booth for the Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2014 in Yoyogi Park on Sunday, April 27. Our official goods, such as reusable shopping bags and button badges, will be sold at the booth. You will be able to buy advance tickets for the ONE-DAY SCREENING IN SPRING as well. We recommend you to get the tickets there as you will have priority seating. This is the only day you can purchase advance tickets, so don’t miss it! Talk event to be held after screening of “No Look Pass”!
A talk event will be held after the screening of “No Look Pass” starting at 12:50 pm as part of the ONE-DAY SCREENING IN SPRING on April 29, 2014. We will have Kaoru Nemoto as our guest, who in the past devoted herself to refugee relief activities as a staff member of UNHCR (Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) and is now the head of UNIC (United Nations Information Centre). She will come from her office which is very near the Tokyo Women’s Plaza venue to talk about movies in light of her experience. Volunteer Proof Reading Staff Needed
Tokyo Lesbian & Gay Film Festival is happy to be celebrating its 23rd anniversary this July. The festival will screen much-discussed movies focused on sexual minorities. Several events like panel discussion will be held as well. In proceeding with preparations, we are looking for volunteer staff that can check our English documents for accuracy. We have staff who can translate Japanese into English but we do not have enough English proofreaders who have solid editing skills. If you can help us, please contact us.
