This Film Festival is presented in two languages (Japanese and English). All non-Japanese films will be subtitled in Japanese, and non-English films in English.

We do not stop picture-taking in the lobby and hallways. Please do not take any pictures of persons who have not given you permission to capture, and/or upload those pictures online without their permission (onto Facebook, Twitter, etc.) (the same applies to taking videos of them). We absolutely prohibit recording videos or taking pictures of any films inside the theater.

Tickets for showings at Cinem@rt are available from any Cinem@rt box office and from Cinem@rt Online Ticket Reservation Service. Tickets are also available at the box office of all Cinem@rt theaters and online from 2 days before the film’s show date. Reservation by telephone is not available.

※ Please note the ticketing page of Cinem@rt Online Ticket Reservation Service is different for each theater. This may change as a result of, among others, declaration of a state of emergency, so check the website of your Cinem@rt theater before you make your purchase.

Tickets for showings at Spiral Hall will be available for purchase from Ticket PIA starting June 29, 2022.

Tickets for showings at Cinem@rt Shinjuku and Cinem@rt Shinsaibashi will only be tickets for films whose tickets are available from two days prior to the date of showing.

Tickets for showings at Spiral Hall will only be available by pre-sale (from June 29, 2022, until showtime) and all seats are reserved via Ticket PIA. Tickets will not be sold on the day of showing at the venue.
There is no ticketing machine at the venue. Please print out any purchased tickets before arriving at the venue.

Cash refunds given at this Film Festival in past years will not be available this year. We have discount tickets available. Select the corresponding ticket at the time of your purchase. Discount tickets such as student discount will be sold separately from the general admission tickets.

If you will be purchasing your ticket online, bring your student ID, disability ID, or something that proves your age when you arrive. If you do not have this on you, you will be asked to pay the difference in price to the regular ticket.

Free Pass tickets and 4-tickets package will not be available.

When you arrive present a ticket for a film you watched from this year’s Film Festival. We can sell a ticket to you for 1,200 yen at our Repeater discount.

When purchasing, select Repeater discount at the time of purchase, and on the day of showing present a ticket from a film you watched when you arrive. If you forget to bring the ticket of a film you watched, you will be asked to pay the difference in price to the regular ticket.

This is a discounted ticket for our patrons who plan to watch several of our films at the regular or student price. This discount will allow you to purchase tickets for your second and later films at 1,200 yen

Present your ticket from a film you watched when you arrive. If you forget, you will be asked to pay 500 yen, which is the difference in price to the regular ticket.

If you plan to watch two films on the same day, take advantage of this Repeater discount when you purchase the ticket for your second film. At the time of purchase, you will see “Repeater discount” under ticket category. Select this option.

When you purchase your tickets at the box office of a Cinem@rt theater, let the staff know that your ticket category is Repeater discount, and present a ticket of a film you watched. If you forget this, you will not be able to purchase your ticket at the Repeater discount. This Repeater discount can be used for as many films as you wish.

All seats are assigned seating. You can select your seat at the time of purchase.

There is wheelchair access. The theater is equipped with space for wheelchairs (2 spaces). The accessible toilet is on the second floor.

Provide the following information via our Contact Form before using this space.
(1) The film title and date and time you plant to see this film
(2) Number in your party (whether you will be accompanied by a companion and whether your companion will also be watching the film)
(3) Type of ticket you will be purchasing (example: disabled discount, U-22 discount)

You can purchase your ticket at the box office on the day of showing when you have let us know this information in advance. Emails can sometimes bounce, so please always check that you have received a reply from our ticketing service before you arrive.
