Chikuwa Film has been cranking out gay films. “Lucky Dog” is their 3rd full feature. You can’t sit through earlier films either without a box of tissues. Great reviews. People go see it just to cry. This film “Lucky Dog” will be coming to this year’s to the big screen of Tokyo International Lesbian & Gay Film Festival.
Hige-pon is 46. He has never luck at work and never had a boyfriend. As he attempts suicide, he laments: “My life was shit. I wish I had just one kiss with a hot man like a Go-go boy.” Then suddenly a dog appears. He then takes this dog to his watering hole, where he meets TEN, a super hot guy sitting next to him. TEN tells him “You’re hot. Let’s forget the bad stuff” and gives him a bear hug. Hige-pon is thrilled, never having experience this much luck in his life. However, the miracles that this dog brings had only just started.
Hige-pon is also a director at Chikuwa Film. TEN, who Hige-pon falls for, is Go-go boy TEN. In addition to his beauty and looks, his first acting role is fantastic, and he brings the charisma of TEN to the big screen. The bar owner is played by Go-go boy, Yuto Chiba. Yuta, a fantastic actor at Chikuwa Film, plays TEN’s older brother. The cast is full of beefy and attractive men!
